3 Girls + Camping = GOOD TIMES!!!

I've never been much of a camper. Don't get me wrong, I love the out doors and I've been quite a few times with family and friends however I always seem to get out of putting up the tent and making the fire. Call me lucky! ha. So I was a little stressed when Candice, Sarah and I went camping alone a few weeks ago. That's right, NO boys! Just us girls. Turns out that we are not so bad at our camping life's. Although it did take two attempt to put up the tent but I'm pretty sure that we laughed the whole time. Here are the attempt we made. Above is attempt number One. Clearly doesn't look like its suppose to. You can see Sarah and myself on the right side. I think we were holding the tent up. ha ha. Below is the second attempt looked a little better. It was sleepable. For 3 girls that have never set this tent up before, I think we did a pretty good job. However don't ask how long it took to get it up.

Whenever we go anywhere we have to make sure we get a cute picture of the 3 of us. Although it sometimes takes a few attempts. Here are our attempts. Picture number 1. didn't work due to the fact that we only got 1/2 of Sarah's face. Picture number 2. was no good because Sarah's face is now in the way. Although 3. was the one that we finally decided to call it good. Every one was all smiles and in the picture.
Next part of our adventure was the campfire! It was now time to fix our amazing dinner of hot dogs and then dessert of smores and roasted starbursts. Its not camping if you don't have marsh mellows over an open fire!

It was so nice to go camping with them and I had the blast just sitting around laughing and making our dinners. I couldn't ask for a better camping experience. After we stayed up for a while we decided to call it a night. The fun continued to the wonderful tent we had set up. Sarah decided to bring a sleeping cot so watching her set it up was a ton of fun. But she did manage to get it up and it didn't collapse, not even once! Good job Sarah!

Thanks to my two great friends for braving the wilderness with me. I can't wait for next time! Three girls can go camping and come back alive!!

Well I am certainly glad you did come home alive! Our Relief Society went camping once--it was a hoot! but funny how you would always meet someone on the trail to he restroom!
Maybe nest year you will all have cots!
