Viva Las Vegas

So it was time again to take what seems to be a annual trip to "Sin City", the "City of Lights", "Lost Wages" or Las Vegas!!
This time it was just Sarah, Candice, Lydia and myself. We had a great time and played in Vegas like never before. After the past few years I think we have finally learned how to do Vegas right so here are some of the tips that I've learned.
1. Walking IS over rated!- It takes just as long to walk from Casino to Casino as it does to Self Park or Valet the car each time. This has been learned through much trial and error.
2. Enjoy the Night life - Vegas is known for its Night life therefore I enjoy Vegas alot more at night then I do during the day. If you go during the summer your average temp about 100 degrees. If you simply wait till night to see those amazing lights the temp will drop about 20 - 30 degrees. Just a thought
3. Nothing in Vegas is FREE or Cheap- With the few exceptions of those dang flash cards that are passed to every person as they walk the strip. I like to call those "Boobie Cards"
4. Wear comfortable Shoes- This one is a must!! I made the horrible mistake of wearing some awesome looking black high heeled boots. I figured they would like to look nice for a night out on the town and thought there would be limited walking so I should be okay. I was wrong!! There are not short distances in Vegas therefore wear shoes you know your feet won't kill you for later. I had to dance in my socks because my feet were in so much pain.
5. Prepare to Sweat! - Every time I go to Vegas I try to wear my hair straight. If you know me at all you know that my hair is naturally very curly. Why do I go against the natural forces??? I don't know. My hair starts out cute and strait but by the end of the evening it is up in a pony tail and bangs are pulled back. Its not good times.
6. Never Expect to win BIG- This just won't happen. Those machines are rigged I tell you. I figure that I will put $20 aside and just expect it to be wasted on gambling. If you go into it thinking that you will win twice the money you put it all you will leave with is a bad attitude.

So there are a few things to take in consideration before you take on the Adventure that is Las Vegas. For a more in dept view of the trip you can refer to Sarah's Blog. (For those who have been granted access.)
