Every year my Grandparents throw a Christmas party for their company Booth Fire Protection which is based out of Price. Just this last year they have expanded the company to Salt Lake and become Booth Fire/United Fire Protection. So the whole United Fired part of the company took the 2 hour drive down to Price for the Christmas Party this year. Since my entire family is apart of the business and I am a Booth I was invited to go.
I had the absolute best time. I spent a ton of time with my family and it makes me look forward to Christmas that is tomorrow. I think that pictures speak louder then words so here are some that I got from the weekend.

Pretty Pretty Princess

I don’t know what it is but I tend to revert to a 5 year old whenever I’m with my siblings. It may have something to do with them all being so young. So on Saturday night I headed over to my Dad’s house to help my sister Shariah (16 yrs old) to watch Cody (11), Cole (7) and Sloane (4).
we packed all the kids into the Tahoe and headed to Baskin Robins where Shariah kindly got ice cream for all of us. Now that we had loaded the kids up with sugar we knew it would be best to try and let them exhaust themselves. So to a play place called Jumping Jacks was our next destination. They played for about an hour which ended up being the perfect solution to lots of ice cream. We then headed back to the house where they were each given a change to settle down. Cody jumped in the shower, Cole played his video games and it was Sloane’s duty to set up the game Pretty Pretty Princess. Shariah had promised Sloane that we would play. So the three of us sat down and started to play. For those who are unfamiliar with this game it is the goal to move your player piece around the board and collect your jewelry. Once you have collected your ring, ear rings, necklace, bracelet and most importantly the crown you are the Pretty Pretty Princess. Although if you obtain the dreaded black ring you can not win until you get rid of it. The three of us played and a time or two my dear sister Sloane tried to convince Shariah and myself that she should just keep the crown. So sneaky for a 4 year old. Although she is our youngest sister we were not about to let her get away with that one. Ultimately Shariah became the Pretty Pretty Princess. My siblings are blessings in my life and I wouldn’t trade the experiences with them for anything. I consider myself to be incredibly lucky to be their older sister and it is truly my privilege. I look forward to every moment I get to spend with my family and the holiday season has a way of helping me realize how important it is to have family around.
